Things to Do & See

Beaches! | Torrance, Redondo, Hermosa, and Manhattan Beach are more locals-only beaches and a little less crowded than Santa Monica and Venice.

Beachside Bike Rentals | Rent a bike here and ride it all the way up to Manhattan Beach.

Del Amo Fashion Center | It’s not the best mall, nor the biggest (anymore) but it is where “Bad Santa” and “Mall Rats” was filmed ages ago.

Ocean Trails Reserve | A beautiful, easy, coastal hike in Palos Verdes

Santa Catalina Island | You can take a ferry here for a day trip easily.

South Coast Botanic Garden | A nice place for a stroll

Torrance High School | Deanna’s alma mater, worth a visit if you’re a big fan of “Beverly Hills 90210,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” or “She’s All That”
